Dog – has
belonged to our
family since I remember. First fragmentary
evokes belong to boxer Mukky, older dog
lady, for which we, together with my brother,
made her last life years unpleasant in time
of our pre-school years. Then came, excuse
me, choosed us a flat fured dachshund Ťapka.
Initially she belonged to my mother friends.
But she wasn´t there a centre of attention.
By us she found 100 % interest in her ego.
It began with her house runs. Her owners
came to take her in even more longer
intervals, so we made an arrangement, that
she stays by us for indefinitely... She was
proud, her own and loved by us till her last
days...
After her
demise the situation didn´t allowe for some
time a four – legged friend. Also this came
over and after responsible family
consultation we could decide again, this
once for a schnauzer. Still 1 year
persisted, when we succeeded in finding an
advertisement for puppies of standard
schnauzer colour pfeffer and salt. And so in
May 1971 we travelled to a breeder Mr. Jiří
Kroupa to Vlašim and we had luck – he had a
dog free - Athos (Athos z Čínského pavilonu
/from China pavilion/).
Thanks him we
stepwise detected series of positive
qualities of this breed. It´s especially
boundless love and loyalty to family,
connected with a need to protect it. Big
temper connected with high inteligence makes
from them proud and confident personalities
with sense for creative game. This brings an
endless series of surprising situations,
which often need our big bird´s eye view "and
beeing always ready". Because of this all it´s
nothing other to do, than admire, love and
stay true – faithful to them...
Athos beside
our love was very well accepted also by
breeders – result were eminent exhibition
successes. It was an impulse for a decision
to extend the family for a first bitch. She
was called Afra Estakáda. She came to us in
1974 from breeder Mr. Jiří Daičo from Prague.
Thanks to greatly impulsive and herewith
very proud character she rippled strongly
the peace of our house. Consistent guidance
and from this followed training were
necessity, so that it was possible to "break"
her for normal measure – dimension of mutual
co-existence. From breeder aspekt she
enjoyed herself also well.
In 1978,
together with my mother and support of the
whole family we decided to try to rear our
own puppies. So was to Athos and Afra, born
in our first litter, Anetta Subava, which
stayed by us. Breeder surroundings didn´t
guess, that behind her beautiful appearance
hides a very gentle loving bearded being.
From the second
litter of Anetta we kept in 1983 other bitch
Getty Subava, which was such a house sun –
she always was well mooded and she was
looking at the world through "pink glasses".
Then followed
Sheilla Subava
– "Brave",
Jokky Subava – "Sorrowful" (because of
serious health problems she demised at the
age of 6 years), Nicky Subava – "House type"
and at last sisters Oddy a Offy Subava...
In this years I was already living in Prague
flat and I missed our schnauzers. When my
new life proportions were stabilised, I
decided again for a fellowship of a
schnauzer. But now a miniature, only the
colour pfeffer and salt was tally.

The first bitch
was "Ája" (Bája Havelka) from breeder Ing.
Libuška Brychtová from Prague. Her mother
Afra Stajika casted a spall on me on a
photograph published in a kynological
periodical "Dog mens´friend - Pes přítel
člověka". Immediately I phoned the owner to
ask, if they don´t plan puppies. It was
necessary to have patience, until the happy
moment came into being. And so in 1991,
after more than year-waiting, I carried home
little - wee Ája. Ája grew to my and her
pleasure cca till year. Than she falled ill
with so masive infectious gastritis, that
she survived only by a miracle. As a result
of this she had permanently undermined
health and subtile appearance. My eventual
breeder ambitions rightful changed a
patient care for "glasshouse flower".
Regrettably her undermined health betrayed
her and at the age of 8 years she passed
away...
But I didn´t
stay alone. In autumn 1996 accrued to our
house other bitch "Gee-Gee" (Virginia Moldau
North) from breeder Mrs. Libuša Stikarovská
from Jindřichovice pod Smrkem. With her kind
and gentle character she commemorated me
greatly our standard schnauzer Anetta.
Ájas demise
initiated my breeder effort
–
aspirations. And especially
– Gee-Gee
solitary
– alone
was sad. So I afforded her maternity.
30. November 2001 she gave birth to 2
bitches "Sissi" and "Sugar" (Amellia
Elizabeth and Antoinette Marie
Quattrocento), which stayed home. Luckily,
because Gee-Gee also "passed away".
Sissi has an
unbelievable temper. She is very contactfull
and ambitious. But for a good word she´s
willing to "give out herself". Sugar is an
inverse - calm, very reclusive and herself.
But if she opens herself...
If You have read till here, than You should
maybe understand, that I try to honour my
wards with responsibility for all their
natural needs. They take revenge upon me with this most precious –
their love – and this on the best way they
are able to do…
Still I would like to thank all breeders,
namely from the birth of this beautiful
breeds till present, however, from wherever
in the world they are. Thanks to all them
for this, that here are our schnauzers for
our pleasure...
